Created for the exhibit Chantier public #2 by the artist Le Gentil Garçon, Street Spirits is a book comprising people who gave their name’s to the streets of Rennes. Without any markings and in closely hung frames, these portraits offer a different more human way of looking at the town. This edition, presented April 8 to May 15, 2005 at the Centre d’Information sur l’Urbanisme, was on furniture put back into the context of the street to which it is linked.
