Lignes de train is the drawn story of a train journey from Nantes to Rennes. It is similar to a travel diary whose sole purpose was to draw horizontal lines freehand, counting with the terrible movements of the train. And as always with Julien Nédélec, absurdity and technicality meet to produce an object that can only belong to the artist’s universe.

Lignes de train was produced for the exhibition RN 137 presented at 40mcube from November 18 to December 17, 2011.
